If there is a book you wish to read that is not owned by an East Albemarle
Regional member library, you may ask to borrow the book through Interlibrary
Loan. You can access the Interlibrary Loan form here.
It is very helpful if you have the ISBN number.
Articles from magazines and journals may be borrowed as well. In order
to borrow these, we must have the following information: name of article,
author of article, name of periodical, date of issue, volume and number
of issue. You will receive a photocopy of the article, not the entire
magazine or journal. Before requesting an article through Interlibrary
Loan, please check NC Live first to see if the article is available
online. THERE MAY BE A PHOTOCOPY CHARGE WHEN BORROWING ARTICLES VIA
INTERLIBRARY LOAN.
The East Albemarle Regional Library neither loans nor
borrows DVDs, videos, music CDs or audiobooks.
