Welcome to the Pasquotank-Camden Library

“There is nothing in our cultural armory more important than the library – nothing. If every school, every university, every other source of knowledge was destroyed, but the library remained, civilization could be rebuilt and man could resume his progress.”
-Harrison E. Salisbury
Author and Journalist

The Pasquotank-Camden Library has been providing outstanding service to the citizens of Pasquotank and Camden Counties for over 70 years. Private donations in addition to our county and state funding help keep our services “FREE TO ALL” and increase the number and variety of services available.

There are many ways to support the Pasquotank-Camden Library.

The Pasquotank-Camden Library Board is an advisory board appointed by the County Board of Commissioners. Trustees serve as library advocates and leaders in developing responsible and creative service to all members of the public. If you are interested in becoming a Board Member, please contact Jackie King at 252-335-2473.

The Friends of the Pasquotank-Camden Library is a group of volunteers who support the library and its services and programs through various activities, including fund raising events, volunteer support, book sales, and in other ways.

Making a gift in the name of a loved one is a wonderful way to honor the memory of those closest to you. Your gift in the name of a family member or friend who loved the library will assist our mission of providing programs and materials.
